| JGVE, Inc. employs Registered Civil Engineers,
Registered Engineering Interns
and Registered Professional Land Surveyors. JGVE, Inc. has
fully equipped 3 man survey crews with Total stations that
utilize electronic data collection, digital levels and global
satellite positioning equipment. JGVE, Inc. is a locally
owned and operated consulting engineering and land surveying
firm.
JGVE, Inc. was organized in 1931 and has been located
in Oklahoma City since this time. Throughout the last seventy-three
years, JGVE, Inc. has provided civil engineering and land
surveying services to Central Oklahoma cities, government
agencies and the State of Oklahoma.
JGVE, Inc. has been using the Javad global satellite
positioning equipment for over three years. This is the most
sophisticated G.P.S.
Equipment that is available in the private
sector today. This system produces conventional survey accuracy
with the speed and maneuverability of GPS equipment. We have
recently acquired another base station to give us two complete
Javad systems. JGVE, Inc. can produce the plans in AutoCAD
Version 2002, 14 and Microstation.
JGVE, Inc.’s project team has 3 Registered
Professional Land Surveyors, 3 Registered Professional
Engineers, 3 AutoCAD technicians, 2 full time 3 man survey
crews, 2 administrative support personnel, 2 construction
inspectors and a general manager. In all, we have 16 employees
at our 124 N.W. 10th Street office in Oklahoma City.
JGVE, Inc.'s team includes the following:
- Mr. Donald Vick, PE, PLS - President and Chairman
of the Board. Mr. Vick will act as the authorized contact
person and Senior Project Engineer. Mr. Vick will assure that
all project design requirements are met. Mr. Vick is a Senior
Professional Engineer with more than 40 years of design
experience. Mr. Vick has accomplished many projects including
projects for ODOT. He was the principle in charge on the ODOT
State Highway No. 8 in Cherokee, Oklahoma. This project
involved the boundary, right-of-way, monuments, roadway
profiles and right-of-way staking on 14 sections and adjoining
sections. This survey in 1996 utilized the then new GPS survey
equipment. Mr. Vick serves as City Engineer for Moore,
Mustang, Del City, Luther and Okarche. Included in this City
Engineer experience are several roadway projects, such as S.
E. 15th and S. E. 29th in Del City and North Western Avenue
from Memorial Road to N. 150th. He has also been the Senior
Civil Engineer for the Oklahoma City Housing Authority for the
past 16 years.
- Mr. D. Don Vick, MBA, Vice President and General
Manager. He will supervise project coordination,
administrative, contractual issues and will assist with client
relations. Mr. Vick has managed the operations of JGVE, Inc.
since 1995.
- Mr. Jon Doyle, PE - Project Civil Engineer. Mr.
Doyle is a civil engineer with more than 8 years of
experience, having worked for JGVE, Inc. throughout his
college career and engineering intern program. He has been the
project engineer on the S. E. 29th Street and on the S. E.
15th Street paving rehabilitation projects in Del City. The S.
E. 29th Street project was 2 miles of paving redesign with
center turn lanes and signalization at 6 intersections. The S.
E. 15th Street project was a 1.5 mile project that involved
the redesign of a section line street with bridge repairs and
the installation of sidewalks.
- Mr. Jeffery Chavez, PE - Civil Engineer. Mr. Chavez
joined JGVE, Inc. in the summer of 2003 and has brought many
years of sanitary sewer, wastewater and transportation design
experience to our firm. Specifically, his individual project
experience includes the N.W. 23rd Street Beautification on
N.W. 23rd Street from I-235 to Classen Drive for the City of
Oklahoma City. This project involved roadway resurfacing,
landscaped medians, sidewalk/driveway repairs, historic
lighting, turn lanes and drainage structure repairs. He was
also a project engineer on the Will Rogers Turnpike for the
rehabilitation of Bridges 13.51, 59.12, 59.99, 60.97 and 72.37
in Ottawa County. Mr. Chavez was also the Project
Representative for the rehabilitation of Bridges 46.10 and
46.41 in Craig County.
- Mr. Bill Brollier, PLS - Professional Land Surveyor
and Survey Supervisor. Mr. Brollier will supervise the field
survey crews and ensure the quality control of the recorded
field data. Mr. Brollier will work with the Senior Project
Engineer and the Project Engineer to make sure the field
survey crew collect the proper data for the Design Team.
We are accustomed to working out of town and with
managing the logistics involved with having survey crews out of
town. We believe that our clients should have the ability to
contact us anytime they feel necessary. Our staff is accustomed
to evening and weekend meetings and to making ourselves
available to our client. We have recently completed projects for
the Oklahoma Department of Human Services that were scattered
statewide.
JGVE, Inc. carries a comprehensive Professional
Liability Insurance package and a comprehensive General
Liability and Vehicular Liability package. The Professional
Liability package is for $250,000.00 per occurrence and the
General Liability is $1,000,000.00 per occurrence and
$2,000,000.00 aggregate. Vehicle Liability is $1,000,000.00.
Additionally, we carry a $1,000,000.00 umbrella general
liability policy. Workers Compensation fully complies with
Oklahoma requirements. All of our surveyors and engineers are in
good standing with the State Board of Registration for Engineers
and Surveyors. All projects will be performed in accordance with
the laws of the State of Oklahoma or any other regulatory
jurisdiction.
